The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed regarding the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The provider position designed for intervention activities a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a status sassa service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to allow the servicing of all clients and boost entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
